Eye on Nature

Congratulations to all our talented artists who helped create Wakaaranga’s amazing entries in this year’s Eye On Nature Wearable Art competition.

Rainbow Skink, modelled by Shona was made from over 1000 popped balloons left over from last year’s Balloon Room at the gala.

Morning Glory Blues, modelled by Peyton was made from VHF tapes and plastic bottles.

Both garments strongly linked to this year’s theme: Friend or Foe? Restoring Habitats, Reducing Threats and were showcased at the Vodafone Event Centre last Thursday in front of a huge audience.
