2019 Koanga Festival

On August 30th Wakaaranga School participated in the 2019 Koanga Festival held by Howick College and Cockle Bay School. The Senior Kapahaka students, under the guidance and expertise of tutor Whaea Carla, performed for a large enthusiastic crowd at Howick College gymnasium.

The students have worked with some consistency each week to be ready to perform on the day. We have a talented group of Year 4 , 5 and 6 students who sounded and looked amazing on the day. A big thank you to many parents who joined the group to prepare, encourage and support on the day. Ka Pai to the teachers and senior management who also supported on the day and during the year.
