Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple Trip

Over the last week, the school had the privilege to visit the Fo Guang Buddhist Temple in Flatbush, Manukau. Their purpose was to promote positive values and connectedness in the community. This experience helps to raise awareness of different cultures in our local community. Students were taken on a tour of the Temple, focusing on architecture and symbolism. The NZ Police were present to talk about their role in building positive relationships and harmony in the community. It was a fantastic trip, one I’m sure the students will remember.
