Level 3 Update
Tēnā tātou,
I hope that this newsletter finds you and your whānau safe and well.
Level 3 Preparation
Like me, you will no doubt be hoping that Auckland will move to Alert Level 3 later next week. In anticipation of this, and to allow us to adequately prepare, we would like to gauge the number of students needing to attend school during Level 3.
As shared previously, at Alert level 3 our school essentially remains closed with the exception of those few children whose parents and carers must work away from home, and there is no appropriate caregiver available. While we know how difficult it is trying to work from home as well as support your child’s learning, please keep your child at home if there is an appropriate carer available. For those of you with no other option, we ask that you follow the link below to register for your child to attend school at Level 3.
It will be important that we keep our school bubble as small as possible for the safety of the teachers, students and their whanau. Strict physical distancing and hygiene procedures will be in place at Level 3, and these must be adhered to at all times. School bubbles will be set up with a limit of 10 children per bubble. These students will continue with the Home Learning Programme. WakaCARE will remain closed.
